My Wax Museum Reflection

I feel very pleased and happy that I finished my project on Christa McAuliffe. I think Christa McAuliffe was accomplished and polite. I thought I would never finish my project but now I know a lot about Christa McAuliffe compared to the beginning when I didn’t know anything about Christa. I think it was a fun and challenging experience to pretend we could be that person for the Wax Museum.

Christa McAuliffe's biography

Christa McAuliffe’s Life

 By. Catherine Stevens

Have you ever wanted to know what Christa Mc Auliffe’s childhood was like? Christa was born on September 2nd 1948 in Framingham Massachusetts. She didn’t go by her name Sharon “Christa” Kerrigan. When she was little she liked the outdoors softball and skiing. Christa was born in a family of 5 children and was the oldest. This childhood set her up for a great adulthood. When Christa got older she was very happy with what she had accomplished. Christa attended Marian High School. She graduated in 1970 from Framingham State College. Christa married Steven James Mc Auliffe. After she got married her and her husband moved to Maryland. It came to the time where she got a great chance for something new and exciting. Christa had a great job but got another big chance you probably want to know what the chance of a lifetime here you go. Christa was a middle school teacher. She transferred schools to Bow, New Hampshire. She was chosen from 114 that applied for a chance in space. Christa wanted to give the prospective of a non-astronaut. She had said she was concerned ordinary people had not been put in history. You are now probably wondering what is going to happen on the mission. Christa got what she had wanted but let’s see what happened and how she became what she is known for today. She was the 1st private citizen to go on a space mission. Christa was going to record experience of space. She was the seventh member for the NASA flight. Christa died on a space mission. That was sad but she was awarded for many things other than that tragic death. Christa had very happy things happen to her here are some of her achievements and how she was a connection to NH. Christa was elected twice for the captain of the debate team. She was accepted into the teacher in space program. Christa was the 1st teacher that was going into space. Christa was a teacher from Concord and went in space. After she had her first child Christa and her husband and baby moved to Concord. She had a great life and in her life she was awarded for her achievements. She had a day named after her on August 6th 1985. She had fun doing things before attempting to go out in space. Let’s see what other things happened. Christa learned how to take clear photographs from space. She picked her own assortment of space food. Christa trained 120 days before the mission. The space craft fell in the sea. On May 1st 1986 she was buried near her home. I have learned that Christa was always giving and tried to accomplish things but cared for many people and things that is why she is still remembered today.
