My 4th Grade Year At Mast Way

                                                                                My Fourth Grade Year
I am going to tell you what my fourth grade experience was like. I will never forget all of the teachers that came into our classroom to teach us something new and educational. The times we got to go outside for recess as a treat for being such a great class. All of the field trips were a special part in how I will remember 4th grade. The 4th grade year was challenging but fun.
I feel most proud of accomplishing to write so many poems that I can teach to other kids. I also feel very proud of studying topics in such a short amount of time. I will always be proud of my art that I have created in the classroom to tell people how fun 4th grade is. We also wrote holiday stories that would go into a contest. Even if your story didn’t win you would still feel proud of how good your story was. I feel very happy with what I have accomplished.

What I am looking forward to about middle school is new friends that can teach me something new and tell me about their 4th grade year. I think the teachers will guide me through the way of middle school. I am also excited for the field trips that are based on topics that I will study. I am also excited that my siblings will help me if I get lost around the middle school. The lunch will be a variety of foods that will be healthy. I will remember my 4th grade year but will be very excited for middle school.

My Wax Museum Reflection

I feel very pleased and happy that I finished my project on Christa McAuliffe. I think Christa McAuliffe was accomplished and polite. I thought I would never finish my project but now I know a lot about Christa McAuliffe compared to the beginning when I didn’t know anything about Christa. I think it was a fun and challenging experience to pretend we could be that person for the Wax Museum.

Christa McAuliffe's biography

Christa McAuliffe’s Life

 By. Catherine Stevens

Have you ever wanted to know what Christa Mc Auliffe’s childhood was like? Christa was born on September 2nd 1948 in Framingham Massachusetts. She didn’t go by her name Sharon “Christa” Kerrigan. When she was little she liked the outdoors softball and skiing. Christa was born in a family of 5 children and was the oldest. This childhood set her up for a great adulthood. When Christa got older she was very happy with what she had accomplished. Christa attended Marian High School. She graduated in 1970 from Framingham State College. Christa married Steven James Mc Auliffe. After she got married her and her husband moved to Maryland. It came to the time where she got a great chance for something new and exciting. Christa had a great job but got another big chance you probably want to know what the chance of a lifetime here you go. Christa was a middle school teacher. She transferred schools to Bow, New Hampshire. She was chosen from 114 that applied for a chance in space. Christa wanted to give the prospective of a non-astronaut. She had said she was concerned ordinary people had not been put in history. You are now probably wondering what is going to happen on the mission. Christa got what she had wanted but let’s see what happened and how she became what she is known for today. She was the 1st private citizen to go on a space mission. Christa was going to record experience of space. She was the seventh member for the NASA flight. Christa died on a space mission. That was sad but she was awarded for many things other than that tragic death. Christa had very happy things happen to her here are some of her achievements and how she was a connection to NH. Christa was elected twice for the captain of the debate team. She was accepted into the teacher in space program. Christa was the 1st teacher that was going into space. Christa was a teacher from Concord and went in space. After she had her first child Christa and her husband and baby moved to Concord. She had a great life and in her life she was awarded for her achievements. She had a day named after her on August 6th 1985. She had fun doing things before attempting to go out in space. Let’s see what other things happened. Christa learned how to take clear photographs from space. She picked her own assortment of space food. Christa trained 120 days before the mission. The space craft fell in the sea. On May 1st 1986 she was buried near her home. I have learned that Christa was always giving and tried to accomplish things but cared for many people and things that is why she is still remembered today.

Why people should PLANT

Many people don’t really care when they cut down trees but if you cut down a tree it changes the environment. Every year nearly 900,000,000,000 trees are cut down. Trees create habitats for birds. When you grow you are making the soil of your garden more rich. When growing a garden you can get a lot of vitamins from growing fruits and vegetables. Eating home grown foods is good for the environment. Planting can change the world and it does not seem right for people not to plant.

I think planting is a big impact in the world this is what I think a benefit is if you plant. When you plant a tree you are cooling down your home. If you plant a tree it will save enough energy to power 10 room-size air-conditioners for 20 hours. Every year many trees are cut down. If you plant a garden it will reduce the amount of trucks coming to bring food.

I think you should do something to turn this around how you ask? Take seeds and plant them so you don’t buy so much food. You could say how it helps the environment. Show a friend what is happening when you don’t plant. Encourage your friends to plant more. That is how you can help you are probably wondering how I help I will tell you.

I have done things to stop this from happening but I still plan to do more things to help this situation. I plan to tell my neighbors to plant more. Every summer I produce peaches in my yard. I planted a garden last summer. I plan to make flyers to tell people gardening matters. I do many things to stop this problem I think speaking from the heart is a great way to tell how you feel about problems so I will tell you what I think personally.

I am sharing what I think about this problem now so you can hear what I think. I think you should try not to buy fruits and vegetables that can be produced. You should look at the world and see what happens when trees are cut down. Try to make the world a greener and happier place. I think gardening is working together to make a yummy plant or fruit or vegetable. Remember 1 person can make a difference in the world.
